I have been dining at VUE since they openned in 05 and I always had a great experience from the cuisine to the service. However, after January of 06 when VUE changed management and their chef, the restaurant took a nosedive. I dined there again in April 06 and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. The manager did know his wines, but he seemed to talk down to me when I didn't order the Brunello di Montaculchio for $185 and instead ordered a Cabernet for $55. He came off as pompus. The food was mediocre and not at all worth the price. I ordered a steak for $35 and the lady next to me was eating a panini. I never thought VUE would turn into a sandwich shop!? Where did the old staff go????!!!
