Granted, we made our reservations without knowing that Nino's was closing in a week for the summer. The selections were paltry. The pasta tasted overcooked and pastey. We had the impression that the dishes were coming out of a microwave (dish hot - food cold in spots). Service was slow, despite that there were relatively few customers in the dining room.
Friends said that our experience was abnormal. However, the impending summer vacation should not be an excuse to slacken off. Nino took our money just the way they take everyone else's all winter long. We deserved their best effort up until the day they close the doors for vacation. If there's extra deserts left-over, I am sure that the staff would appreciate it as a bonus.
