The first thing you will notice when you walk in to this place? The smell! Overpowering fishiness... pretty gross. But I don't know if it was from the fish or the machismo... I went in for lunch and there was almost no one there but people who were obviously friends of the bartender. Yes, the machismo was flowing and I felt uncomfortable just sitting at the bar trying to have a bite to eat. You think they could tone it down and be respectful of paying customers. They had a loud and obnoxious conversation while I was virtually ignored.
You can tell this place is trying (a little too hard, not unlike the bartender) to be swanky and flashy. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
But while the sushi was decent, I won't be going back.
Pros: decent sushi, moderate prices, good promotions
Cons: the smell!, the service
