Every year or two, because we don't feel like driving out of the neighborhood, we re-try Khajuraho, hoping that it got better - no such luck. The only thing that has changed is the prices - they got higher. In fact, they charge you for every little extra, like raita. The mixed veggie appetizers were awful, the shrimp tandoori was mediocre tasting but the shrimp were very small - it was like $18. The chicken soup was OK, but the mulligatawny was not nearly as good as any other place in Philly. The owners preened themselves in the mirror while we ate, no doubt thinking of how much money they were making.
