Okay, The Lake White Club is a little bit run down. But that is all part of the history. When you walk in the doors, you are actually stepping into a piece of history. Why settle of a fancy, impersonal restraunt when you can have a classic, historical dinner at The Lake White Club.
The service is excellent. The food is creative and delicious. The seating is prompt. No reservations needed unless for large groups. Great view.
And as for the ""drinks in bar only,"" most of the time if you ask your waitress she will go down to the bar and get you a drink.
Pros: Fantastic Food, Superb Service, Really Romantic
Cons: No Hats
