These may be the largest screens in Charleston...with excellent projection...the way films should be seen.
This is a family owned and operated theater and tickets are still only three dollars... they are able to do this because the new releases they show are a few weeks behind the opening dates in the major chains. It is worth the wait. The concessions are reasonably priced, a variety of beers are available, and you can order dinner from next door. If you arrive early, you can visit with the theater's iguana ( caged).
The proprietors select the better current films, ranging from G to R, and sometimes bring in older classics. No slasher or sexploitation junk.
This place is unique, and I look first to their billings if I am thinking about going to a movie. If you haven't been there, give it a try.
Pros: inexpensive, big screens, good films
