The place does need a complete overhaul. We often joke it's going to slide into the lake some day. The food is fantastic. They don't seem to understand when you ask for NON smoking, it means a section of non smokers and NOT just your table. I have eaten at Lake White since the 70's and the food is always great. It's like going back in time as the place has never changed. I'd suggest they offer the salad dressings for sale, and do something with the waiting room. The floors are uneven, the decor is very outdated, the ceilings too low, the NO HATS sign is really corny, but despite everything the great food always keeps us coming back. Making the place NON SMOKING would be a great help!
