I've had 2 Audi TT's in about 5 years (McDonald throughout), and in spite of a few rocky moments, overall the good definitely outnumbers the bad. Now they even go out of their way to keep me happy. Many of my friends have Audi's, and there have been some bad experiences with McD, but also with Prestige. Maybe the key is building a relationship, which maybe you shouldn't have to do but I can only relay my personal perspective. Mine were always under warranty so that may be a factor. I don't hesitate to ask them to fix any/every little thing that goes wrong, so by now they recognize me. Everyone is super friendly, they always hook me up with a loaner, they've completely replaced parts that perhaps they didn't have to, no questions asked, e.g. clutch, rusty calipers. Even the cluster/sending unit, which some have had nightmare stories about.
