I don't want to say the food was horrible, because it wasn't... it just wasn't really..."latin". I don't know if the chef's are just trying to cook for the "gringo" palate, but then they should classify the restaurant. Also, in their defense, I didn't try everything on the menu. But I did order the Bistec Encebollado, which I grew up on, and my mom never threw a can of tomato sauce on that. Also, Uncle Ben's rice? That really turned me off. On the other hand, the ambience of the restaurant is great and the wait staff very attentive.
