For all of you that were regulars at the late/great Sayler's Old Country Kitchen in Beaverton (Closed last year and is now a shopping mall-is this progress?) you'll be very pleased to learn that the wonderful staff (I won't mention any names but you'll recognize them all!) that served you there for all those years have found a new home at Northwest Grille. FINALLY something GREAT has come to the Shilo Inn (formerly Nendells) in Beaverton on the corner of Canyon Road and Walker Road! I'm not here to knock the Shilo, but let's just say that since the transition from Nendells to Shilo the restaurant has gone through as many incarnations as Shirley McLane, and all of them about as attractive(sorry all you SM fans). This is one of the NICEST venue's available in the Portland area and by far the BEST in the Beaverton area. And best of all it now serves GREAT FOOD! Pleeese do yourself a favor and try the Northwest Grille (the Sunday brunch is WONDERFUL!).
Pros: Smoking upstairs(cigar bar);NON-smoking in the lounge. GREAT happy hour menu too!
