I've only been there one time for brunch, but it's probably my favorite brunch in Portland, based on that experience. It was full, but we were seated immediately (on a Saturday slightly after noon!) and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The fare seemed legitimately down-home, but in the highest quality way. My wife had the cheesy grits with eggs and ham, which was very tasty -- I kept sneaking bites even after I'd finished off my filling bananas Foster French toast, which was also good. The atmosphere was definitely hip, but not intimidatingly so. My friends have raved so much about dinner there that we're sure to go back for that.
