My husaband, myself, and some friends went to the Ft.Lauderdale location of Taverna Opa. We called in the same day for 25 people. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived we were down to just under 15 people. The host sat us anyway. Later we were confronted by the idiot manager mentioned in previous remarks. He yelled at us basically stating that were going to get charged on the card used for reserving for all 25 people. We explained that we never were asked for a card when we reserved. He continued to confront us basically humiliating us in front of very close neighboring tables. He then cut our table down to 10 leaving five of our guests to squeeze around us. We then received a plate of moldy pita bread to which the manager claimed was first stained by spinach (no spinach around) and then claimed that the oregano used in the baking process melted (oregano melts?!?!?). All in all avoid this place like the plague. Go to their Hollywood location. Never had a problem there. The food is always great and the staff is warm, courteous, and an absolute blast.
Cons: nasty manager and food
