I liked Dr. Staresinic as a person. She is an ultimate frisbee player so their clinic contributes financial support to the Pittsburgh Ultimate community. There were two unpleasant things that happened such that I would never go back there again. The first thing might be due to my miscommunication with the doctor. There are these eye drops they put in your eyes that make them dilate and they become very sensitive to sunlight for a couple hours. I thought I had received these drops before so I responded that I had this done before. After I left the clinic, my eyes were unbearably senstive to the sunlight. Second is that while they had these dilation drops in my eyes, they had me pick out eyeglass frames to purchase with their ""eyeglasses specialist"". So while my eyes were dilating and unable to focus, this guy was trying to sell me the most expensive frames. And when I indicated that I just wanted something simple (and cheap), he kept poo-poo-ing my choices with disdain. It was really annoying and made it difficult to make a good decision. When I picked up my glasses 3 weeks later, I realized they didn't even put the anti-reflective coating on the glasses that I had ordered, so I will need to work that out with them.
