I live nearby and could not wait for this salon to open. Finally, San Leandro has an upscale hair salon! I've had to drive to San Francisco or San Ramon to get my hair cut or colored. I was given a flyer by someone named Nicole as I walked by, offering a discount to try services there. I was already planning on checking them out so I booked an appointment. I've wanted to change my hair color for some time so I asked for Nicole's opinion. She suggested going with a chocolatey tone to warm my color. The result was beautiful. I also got a really cute layered cut. The cost was very reasonable compared to going to S.F. I am very happy with my services at this salon. They are very professional and welcoming. I was also very happy to see Rene Furterer sold in this salon because I like to use good quality products after I spend money on my hair. I ended up buying a shampoo to protect my color as recommended by Nicole. She was very knowledgable about the differences between all of the different products. The salon is decorated very tastefully and modern and I was made to feel very welcome. They even offered me a complementary glass of wine! Wow! I would definately recommend this salon to newcomers.
