I was new in town and saw Dr. Pena for a recent acne flare up. Instead of prescribing me the usual treatment all other dermatologist had ever recommended for the last 18 years (that always actually worked great, is a real prescription, and is covered by my insurance), she ""prescribed"" me nearly $200 worth of products...THAT SHE SELLS AT HER OFFICE!! One of them was a sunscreen! Is this even ethical?!? Why would ANYBODY trust a ""doctor"" like this? \r
Word to the wise, when you call a new dermatologist office, ask FIRST if the doctor sells any products out of the office.
Pros: Location
Cons: Conducts a doctor's office as a high-end cosmetic counter
