Having seen ads for Dominick's Sunday Supper at 101 Coffee Shop, we decided to give it a try. We didn't have reservations, so we had to sit at the bar (the wait was 30 to 45 minutes at 7pm). The ambiance was nice, but was definitely lacking that extra warmth. The crowd definitely worsened the ambiance. It was an older 30-something crowd of wannabe hipsters and Hollywood types, overdressed and over-makeup'd. The cod fritter appetizer was actually pretty good, crispy and light. However, the main course failed to impress. The stuffed pork was way overcooked, which means it was tough and dry. The tiramisu dessert was a bit better, but did not have enough espresso kick. Basically, it was decent, but not worth another trip...
Pros: Crowd, main dish
