I can't recommend Dr. Mecum because of his office manager. When I was seeing the doctor on a regular basis his office mgr got my appointments messed up, phone numbers, paperwork, everything! She would get me so confused with the wrong info that I would hate to go into his office. Whenever I questioned her she would get real rude and fight with me. I tried leaving messages for the doctor but he never got them. Dr. Mecums office has owed me $75.00 for the past 7 months because Bright Medical Associates demanded I pay for an office visit when I shouldn't have. They claimed I was uninsured but I wasn't. Now BlueCross and Bright Medical agree that the money is owed me, but this office mgr won't cut the check. When I called her she wanted to fight with me and refused again to send me a check. Now I have to write letters and make phone calls and try to get my money.......this is nuts (and so is the office mgr).
