My 2 year old dog was exposed to Parvo and he got very lethargic and sick so I took him to VCA Marina hospital where my neighbor had taken her exposed puppy as well. The "receptionists" put my dog and I into an examination room and left us there for over 30 minutes before a Dr. came in to breifly examine him and tell me what I brought him in for, that he thinks my dog has parvo. He left the room and 30 more minutes went by and the same receptionist that I watched talking to each other while my dog was slowly dying, came back in to give me a quote on how much it would cost to hospitalize him. Over $2000! I wanted to save my dog's life but I did not have the money so they offered me a form to fill out to apply for credit. When I told them I was from a different country and did not have a SIN. they immediately walked out of the room and would not let me read or hold onto the estimate.
