I visited Jimi James in November, while visitiing my hometown of Boston. I went in with terrible, fading, blonde highlights (that I actually got at a top NYC salon). I got a semi permanent, partial highlight, and gloss w/ Jessica (for a 1/4 of what I paid in both NYC and Newbury St. salons.) And it was the best I've ever received! I will never trust another salon with my hair again! I felt like I knew the staff for decades. Its a team effort at the salon as well...For instance, the girl sitting next to me got highlights & cut from Jimi. She wanted wispy bangs, so Jimi called over a stylist who is famous for her wispy bangs. In terms of stylists, chose whoever, as they are all incredible. I wish this salon the best of luck, I hope its around for centuries.
Pros: price , friendly staff, skilled staff
