I just moved here from North Carolina and was craving real bbq when a coworker told me about Baby Blues. I tried it and was blown away. The pulled pork was so tender it was like being at a pig pickin'. The sandwiches are topped with slaw, like they're supposed to. The bbq sauce is delicious- not all sweet and ketchupy.
I've since tried the ribs (both long bones and baby back), and they're some of the best ribs I've ever had, anywhere.
The atmosphere is great- friendly vibe, the music rocks. I had to check out back to see if they were cooking the food in a shack, like back home.
My only regret is that I can't bring my mom here when she visits. It'd break her heart to find out folks in California were making better collard greens than hers.
