I love this place, it's the closest thing to real Mexican food that I have found in the Montrose/La Canada/La Crescenta Area. The food available never disappoints, Carnitas, Pozole, and Chicken Soup are highly recommended. Portions are generous and well priced. Aguas Frescas are good, recommend all of them (Tamarindo, Horchata, Jamaica).
The food here is good, so it attracts a crowd, which might lead to waiting times (that's where the bar comes in) and there is some ambient noise, but it's lively like any real Mexican place should be.
