I live in midtown and because of traffic it took us over an hour to get to the frog, but it was well worth the trip. The course is immaculate. We weren't paired up with another two-some (which is really rare these days). And our round didn't take 5 hours to play (another rarity in our golf obsessed society).
All in all if you are looking to escape the headache of playing with strangers who are terrible, having a put zigzag through potholes, or hitting off of the concrete that is a fairway, go to The Frog. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Pros: upkeep, staff, pace of play
Cons: not terribly long
