Living in LA for the past 7 years I drive by JR's almost every day. I always wanted to try it but didn't get around to it until a few months ago. I've already been back once and I'm getting overdue. The chicken was a little dry, but the brisket, the ribs, and holy crap the baked beans, all fabulous, same with the mac&cheese and cole slaw. The chicken may have been an off day, I'll try it again.
Pros: tasty food, hot BBQ sauce
Cons: small parking lot
