I had my car towed to PEP BOYS a few weeks ago when my battery died. I was swindled into having them run an inspirection on my car, as well, and they indicated I needed a new alternator. Since there was no one else at the shop while this was happening, I told them to go ahead and put it in. They incidated it wouldn't take very long to do. Two hours later, I had witnessed several towel-slapping incidents by the entire staff of PEP BOYS, but no alternator. I finally gave up and had to leave to go back to my office. I had to return to the shop after work in order to pick up my car. No one bothered to apologize for the amount of time I spent waiting at the store, and the work done was more expensive than I had hoped for. While I have not had any trouble with my car since this incident, the immature behavior and the slowness of the shop will not permit me to give this place a recommendation.
