I can't even begin to understand what that guy was talking about when he wrote the place was sub-par. I just ate there and had some of the best ribs I've ever had, I was blown away with the shrimp (BBQ'd and served with some kind of spicy-limey sauce) and the sides were some of the best sides I've ever had at a BBQ restaurant. They were out of the Banana pudding which my friend said was painfully good, but I think I would have exploded if I ate it anyway. Note: try the corn. It's weird, but damn good. I can't comment on the service because I ate at the counter, but the owners were cooking and we had a blast with them. So far it's the best que I've had in l.a.
Pros: Great atmosphere, counter seats a must
Cons: packed on weekends
