We went to Citronelle to celebrate my husband's birthday. When our entrees came out, 2 of 12 were missing. While the hostess was busy sharing food and wine with two other customers, the two meal-less ladies entertained themselves during our entire meal by playing with their silver while the rest of us were forced to give up waiting and consume our meals before they went totally cold. It would have been nice for the staff to have offered the two women something while they waited. By the time the entrees showed up, almost everyone else was done eating and plates were being cleared away. When the check came, I really expected the hostess to have comped us the two late meals or some other sort of compensation. Although the food was excellent and basic service was good, we won't be coming back to Citronelle. Hence, the mixed review.
Pros: friendly staff, food, presentation
Cons: slow service, small portions
