We used Superior Economy to move a baby grand piano from Calabasas to Pasadena. They were easy to work with, had lots of available days and times that worked for me, and the truck definitely came on time. Their packing job was careful and they explained the process well. However, their job estimating skills leave something to be desired. The office staff estimated it would take 2-2.5 hours to complete the job when in fact it ended up taking almost 4.5 hours in the end! True, there was more traffic than expected but the breakdown and setup which should have taken 1 hour actually took 2:15.
Though the workmen were nice, one or two of them spent most of the time talking instead of working efficiently. The manager at the office isn't easy to talk to when you have a problem either. He offered no remedy; just excuses about why this took longer than normal. Our bill doubled from $200 to over $400. For $400 for a short move, I know I could have found somebody much better.
