My recent visit was delightful! The Mall at Chestnut Hill is a mall like no other, small in size with only 65 or so stores and lacking anoying loitering teeanagers. Most of the stores seem to be focused towards home furnishings and women's fashions with very few options for men. Their are four wonderful restaraunts including Bernard's Gourmet Asain Cuisine(ABSOLUTLEY MUST TRY!) Many of the shops are very unique and cannot be found just anywhere (Eileen Fisher, Sigrid Olsen, Barneys New York, Sharper Image, Apple Computer, Cole Haan, Montblanc, Wolford, L'Occitane & Crabtree & Evelynn) Also don't forget to check out Kenzie Kid' I bought 5 yr old daughter a wonderful Burberry raincoat and a Juicy track suit.
The reason no teens - they cant afford it or the clothes aren't for them.
Enjoy a nice stroll throughthe malls gardens before dinner and listen to the wonderful Jazz.
Pros: no teens, VERY UPSCALE atmosph, unique selection
Cons: no elevator, dated decor, small size
