At Saha Food is Art and Dining is an Experience! 6/18/2005

The dining room is beautiful and dimly-lit with a soothing red glow. The menu has an impressive selection of small plates, vegetarian/vegan selections, and seafood. Some favorites: Knaffe(sushi grade ahi tuna seared and crusted in phyllo shavings), Tiger Prawns in a rosewater, mint, and cilantro sauce, BBQ Tofu and Mushrooms, and the best Fattoush salad I've had in the city! To witness the ongoing creativity of chef Mohamed Aboghanem, try a daily special. I had an excellent mustard-lime marinated halibut filet over baby bok choy and spinach, with a persimmon salsa. I also loved the salmon baklava. The fava bean crostini was simple and beauiful: Crostini topped with a fava bean puree, accompanied by kalamata olives, roasted figs, or spanish white anchovies! The flavors are unique and amazingly combined in food that is divine! Pros: amazing flavors, nice beer and wine, great service more
