My family had a reunion in Asheville, and we had our second night's dinner here.
The food was spectacular, far and away the best that we had on our trip (which included the "Market Place"). From talking to locals, I learned that this restaurant is not as flamboyant and novel as others, but for consistent, excellent food, it's the place to go.
That's not to say that it's serving "comfort food," or anything like that -- my wife and I had excellent steaks, my mother pasta, and my sisters fish & pork tenderloin. All highly recommended.
