Ate here with my girlfriend a few weeks ago expecting to have a similar experience to the other reviews. From the onset, there were obvious places where the restaurant cuts corners to save money. The ""bruschetta"" and tapenade accompanying the bread were lackluster - no fresh basil in the former, only black olives (not kalamatas) in the latter. A few extra thoughts here would have started the evening on a better note. We both had salads to start - good. The Porterhouse we shared was what ruined the evening - thi steak was not a good cut and was not even close to cooked to order (med rare). The desserts were nicely done, and the lava cake is to die for! Service throughout the evening was attentive but not constant, and the atmosphere is nice, as well. Food for thought - give more thought to the food.
