At first, I was not too impressed by the menu. Then I looked over to the large table of Chinese patrons and realized they have 'the other menu'. It is a common thing in more authenic Chinese restaurant that they have a menu for regular Americans, and another for Chinese patrons. This special menu contains authentic Chinese dishes, and the ones I picked were very well prepared. Particularly the PeiPa Tofu, a dish that requires a certain level of skill to make, is highly recommended.
Don't be fooled by the decor, which is somewhat outdated. Ask for the Chinese menu and ask the server to recommend what's fresh today.
