If you need to park for more than a week at LAX, it is worth it to stay at the nearby Courtyard by Marriott in El Segundo. It is about 5 minutes from the airport by free shuttle, which is provided by the hotel.
If you can plan your trip to get a weekend rate, you will pay about $75.00 and get two weeks free parking! This was a great deal. It is more expensive during the week, but if you are paying $10-12 per day to park, it may still be worthwhile.
The hotel's rooms were quite nice, the bed was very good and the area is surrounded by restaurants - within 3-4 miles. Outdoor pool, indoor hot tub.
