My wife literally dragged me to Tandoori Oven, I have never liked Indian food or restaurants. Generally I have found Indian food to be oily, very hot and with mystery meat being the most common ingredient.
I've noticed before that the place is always packed, which is a good sign. There wasn't any of that immensely irritating Indian folk music playing, the music sounded like some kind of reggae/hip hop fusion- I'm probably too old to figure out what that is/was.
We ordered a Chicken Tikka and a Lamb Vindaloo, which they warned me was failry spicy, 2 beers and a mango lassi. The total was less than $30 incl tax and tip and we couldn't eat all of the delicious food.
Glowing reccomendations from this old timer
