My husband and I drive over 20 miles to come here for brunch. It's hard to believe Sportsman's Lodge is on two busy streets. Once you're on the property it's like being in a different world. Little streams connect ponds stocked with beautiful black swans and plenty of fish. Rooms are glass from floor to ceiling so you can enjoy the lush surroundings.
The food is very good, plentiful, and there's something for everyone. I always have a custom omelette made. Lox and bagels are abundant as are over a dozen hot dishes and lots of fresh fruit. The staff is quick to replenish food. There's a separate niche for all the desserts. Wisely, most are in small portions so you don't feel guilty about sampling several.
At the tables, wait staff is quick to offer freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, and champagne. It's always a pleasant treat.
Pros: Great Seeting, Variety Of Good Food, Good Service
Cons: Can Be Crowded
