I had dinner with my family at Manon recently and was thrilled. Manon is pleasantly decorated with French themes, and is darkly-lit, very romantic and cozy. I started the night with a mushroom in truffle oil appetizer that was delicious. The family had rave reviews of the pate and the watercress salad (which was huge). The bouillabaisse was superb and was chock-full of seafood, and the broth was so savory, I wished it would never end. And the dessert continued my wistfulness as I haven't had such a delicious finale to a meal in years. I had the apple tart with vanilla ice cream which was both buttery and sweet and simply incredible. Also recommended are both the watermelon/strawberry sorbet and the very delicious praline and meringue combination. Portions were large and filling and the check was surprisingly low for such a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended.
