A Very Big Disappoitment !!!!!! 2/8/2006

We were 8 people, the reservation was for 8:00 and the table was ready, but the seating was not comfortabe (very tight) and to add to that it was very warm and the noise level was impossible to speak to the person next to me. The food was fair and the price was very high. I was surprised it was so bad, after reading all the reviews. Pros: friendly, cute place Cons: expensive, noisey, food not good more

an exquisite evening 3/19/2005

I had dinner with my family at Manon recently and was thrilled. Manon is pleasantly decorated with French themes, and is darkly-lit, very romantic and cozy. I started the night with a mushroom in truffle oil appetizer that was delicious. The family had rave reviews of the pate and the watercress salad (which was huge). The bouillabaisse was superb and was chock-full of seafood, and the broth was so savory, I wished it would never end. And the dessert continued my wistfulness as I haven't had such a delicious finale to a meal in years. I had the apple tart with vanilla ice cream which was both buttery and sweet and simply incredible. Also recommended are both the watermelon/strawberry sorbet and the very delicious praline and meringue combination. Portions were large and filling and the check was surprisingly low for such a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended. Pros: Food, Polite service, Setting more

Hands down - a perfect experience 2/21/2005

My girlfriend and I came here for Valentine's Day dinner, 2005. We had the escargot, calamari, goat cheese salad, filet mignon, and topped it off with chocolate tarte and capuccino. The escargot outshines most Parisian dishes, due mostly to the subtle but unique dressing used to garnish the dish. The calamari was excellent, though quickly outdone by the goat cheese salad - a must-try. The steak filet was cooked to perfection - it all but melted in my mouth, and the potatoes au gratin still resonate on my palate. Overall, superb ambience, excellent service, and well worth the advanced reservations. Pros: Culinary perfection, Ambience more

The best meal and atmosphere 1/7/2005

My husband and I started coming here before we were married, we fell in love there and with the food. You won't taste better au gratin potatoes anywhere! We reccomend this place to all of our friends and family, you have to go, you'll love it for sure. Pros: good ambiance, friendly servers, great food Cons: , really small more

Excellent 11/4/2003

My boyfriend and I had dinner here Saturday, November 1st. When we arrived, I was disappointed to see our table was right in front of the door. I quickly forgot about that because there wasn't a lot of in and out traffic and everything else about the setting was so nice- the lighting and decor. The service was excellent- very friendly and prompt. I felt very appreciated. We had a 5 course meal (splitting the Warm Goat Cheese Salad) and the total came to only $105 (and I ordered Fois Gras!). I would highly recommend this place. Make sure to call well in advance, especially for a weekend. more

Fantastic Service!!! 12/2/2002

Wonderful food and wonderful service! We ate dinner there on 11/30/02 and had best time. We had sweet breads, goat cheese salad, filet, scallops, and the chocolate torte for dessert--all were fantastic! The restaurant is small and loud(in a festive way). Manon gets an A+. Pros: excellent food, friendly service, great atmosphere Cons: cramped tables more

Had a remarkable heirloom tomato salad there last August. I'm afraid it was just so perfect that I can't remember anything about the rest of the meal. more
