I visited Schooners with a party of six in December just before the Christmas weekend. This is off-season, so the place was practically deserted. We were seated immediately (we had reservation, though there was no need), the service was quick, though our waiter seemed a little inexperienced, especially with the opening of wine bottles. Most of our group ordered soups and salads, all agreed they were excellent. I ordered the steak, which was FANTASTIC! My girlfriends pesto salmon dish was also quite delicious. The ambience was also very nice -- cozy & clean, a perfect fit for this sleepy beach village. The wine list was short, but easy to navigate and rich with excellent local selections -- the ""Monster"" Zin was one of the best zins I've had. I highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely be back on my next trip.
