We started using Spencer Pest Control in July 2005. Since then we've seen dozens of spiders and mosquitos but our worst problem was ticks!! We contacted Spencer 4 times by phone on this issue and we were told 1) it's going to cost $225 for tick treatment (in addition to our $225 set up fee and $65-$70 month fee); 2) we'll come spray the inside of your house for no charge (they never showed up) and 3) we'll have someone call you about a special lawn fertilizer that treats and prevents ticks (no one ever called). Don't let their years in service fool you...we had fewer bugs BEFORE they started.
PROS: Nice when they were trying to sell us products
CONS: Answering machine every time we called. Poor customer service
