I've dined at five different RC steak houses. Over the weekend of Nov 12th my wife and I dined at the Tampa location before heading home from our vacation.
The ambience was nice and the service was quite good - I am happy to give credit where it is due. However, the food was horrendous! My filet mignon ($35.00+) was a gritty, fatty piece of leather - not a tender filet as it should have been. The lobster Bisque was also terrible and the seared Ahi Tuna was a chunk of raw fish with a substandard glaze.
We were terribly disappointed. Someone needs to teach (or re-teach) this place how to purchase and prepare quality food - especially for the astronomical price they charge. We will not dine again at an RC.
