I often visit Austin on business and I never miss an opportunity to eat at Sullivan's. I recently took the opportunity to have a meal with a colleague and a client and it was even better than I remember.
This restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Austin. It is never difficult to get parking with convenient curbside valet. The staff was friendly and professional. We had a short wait in the bar area where there was a live jazz band playing and TV's with the college game. The main dining room was perfect to have conversation. I ordered a filet with asparagus. We closed our business meal and headed to the attached club for some live music.
I am also often looking for a nice place to dine while alone and have found Sullivan's lounge to be one of the best places in Austin for a lone sitting.
