Tokyo is a decent value with tasty Japanese food. The two negative reviews of the restaurant are totally uninformed. I lived in Japan for three years, and have eaten sushi in Hawaii and California. Tokyo's food is on a par with most Japanese restaurants on the East Coast. The reviewer is wrong who claimed that the restaurant's yakisoba was not authentic because it contained udon noodles. Yakisoba is made with chinese style (Ramen) buckwheat noodles, the version served at Tokyo. Both negative reviews criticized the sushi, a rice dish where the rice is cooked with sushi vinegar. I have never found Tokyo's sushi rice dry, but always flavorful. The norimaki (rolls), nigiri and temaki (handrolls) are very good sushi, and the raw fish in the shashimi and sushi I have had at Tokyo has always been fresh and prepared properly. The BYOB policy of Tokyo is also a plus.
