La Tavola provided us with a very pleasing surprise. While my date selected the snapper encrusted with pinenuts (and she almost swooned), I asked Edd for a suggestion and received the seared sea bass with scallops. I didn't lick the plate, but was very tempted. (The chef used to grace the kitchen at Grotto, which explains much!)
Take the drive, arrive early enough to walk through some of the Tomball shops and finish the evening with a great meal. You won't be disappointed at all.
