i guess the owner of firefly assumes that the majority of la people are short because they bought their dining furniture from a kindergarten garage sale. whoever wrote the menu did an exquisite job of describing what you WONT have, the $16 ""cheese platter"" is not a platter but a plate with three slices of cheese. the flat-iron steak was actually some kind of shredded beef in steak shape. its small size packed little flavor. i came home mad that i couldnt take the rest of my steak home and with a terrible back cramp. the ambiance, however, was immmaculately gorgeous with its high and pointy sky light ceiling and mountain greenery off to the side. in conclusion, go for drinks-the martinis were made to precise perfection and feel smart in the library lounge, but be wise enough to skip dinner; firefly doesnt offer cuisine worthy of rememberance.
Pros: romantic, great drinks, great lounge
Cons: , uncomfortable seats, unworthy food
