Good French Bistro 3/11/2004

We came for lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was almost empty. The owner, Chef Philippe was also the server and recommended the Mussels and for soup: the Onion soup. The onion soup was an authentic French onion soup with a soaked slice of baguette, covered with two types of melted cheese and herbs. The mussels were indeed a delicacy, served in a very tasty sauce with fresh warm baguette on the side. We also had a Lobster Crepe, which was good, but we thought could be better with some lemon and garlic added to the sauce. We paid $30 for 2 soups, Lobster crepe and Mussels.
