I'm jealous that this restaurant is in Astoria and not in my neighborhood in Manhattan. There are many things to choose from on the menu. The roasted tomato and mozzarella salad is delicious, and we also tried the grilled calamari special that was tasty(and the size of an entree!). The chicken and trout entrees were also delicious. The chef has a way of using spices to create some wonderful and unexpected flavors. We happened to be in Astoria visiting someone and needed a place to eat, and were pleasantly surprised by the food and atmosphere at this place. It was a dining experience and dinner for 2 was only $80 for 3 courses with wine and tip! If only they'd move to NYC...
Pros: great food, excellent value, cozy atmosphere
