""Street people""? Does that mean people hanging out on the street? In the city, in August, everyone is hanging out on the street. Walking around. Because it's nice out. Because they don't have to DRIVE everywhere the way you do in the suburbs.
I can't believe someone would call the neighborhood that Margie's is in ""creepy"" (check your spelling, by the way. Margie's is in one of the most family-oriented neighborhoods LEFT in the city.
Margie's is a jewel. The service is so-so, but who's there for the service? I'm there for the STELLAR ice cream (forget oberweis and haagen dazs) and I just take it to go.
I'm still not sure who the last reviewer meant by ""street people,"" but I'm appalled by the remark.
