Olive Garden is a chain for a reason: high quality Italian food combined with well-decorated restaurants and great service. The Salem Olive Garden is always busy and I've never seen it dead. Ever.
The food is always high quality and the service is always pleasant but the "franchise" element of the restaurant is what bothers me most. It loses the Italian authenticity and slight appeal with its inability to distinguish itself amongst the rest. The deals are always pretty decent however, so visiting the Olive Garden here is definitely a nice treat.
