If it weren't called The Barbecue Joint, it would be a tolerable spot, with a range of food for all tastes. But I believe you'd better serve some decent 'que if you put the lovely word in your name, and this joint serves a bland, soggy, unimpressive and overpriced plate. If you want real 'que, do yourself a favor and head up the road a couple miles to Allen and Son. On the other hand, if you want to pretend you like barbecue while sipping an import, then drop by The Barbecue Joint.
Pros: Wide range of food, Beer served, Friendly staff
Cons: Lousy bbq!, Need I say more
