After several years of living in the Lower Nob Hill/Theatre District, my partner and I finally decided to try the little Italian restaurant we'd walked past dozens of times. We just wonder what took us so long! Fino's menu isn't very adventurous, but every one of the familiar dishes is well-executed, and the service is extremely friendly and efficient. The ambience is what sets Fino apart - from the street, you can't see the rear dining room, but if you can get a seat back there by the romantic fireplace, be sure to do so. Fino is a great choice after shopping downtown or before a show.
Pros: Romantic ambience, Service, Dish execution
Cons: Conventional menu
